I am Haydn Andrews from Melbourne Australia.

I spent 7 years in the Australian Army’s Signal Corp as a Systems Administrator and Network Administrator. I had the privilege of being deployed to Timor-Leste as part of Operation Astute in the role of  team leader of a infrastructure team.

Following my discharge from the Army I worked for NEC Australia as a Network Engineer on the Northern Territory Government’s network. This network was both wired and wireless to approx 2000 sites both within metropolitan, regional  and remote outback Australia.

Following my role with NEC, after nearly 10 years of being away from family and friends it was time to return to Melbourne. Here I took up a role as a Network Engineer with one of Australia’s largest electrical retailers.

I have supported two of Australia’s largest Universities and am now working as a Senior Wireless Engineer with Dimension Data.

I have achieved the following certifications:

CWNE #256
CCNP – Wireless / Route and Switch
CCDP
ITIL – Foundations version 3

I am currently studding for the CCIE Wireless
